After a hiatus of almost 4 months, Slope Point joins forces with Asedub, with ‘King of South', which will be the twelfth Slope Point release and will contain 4 tracks, mastered by Glan Glaivin.
‘King of South’ opens with a homonymous theme, where Asedub shows its ability to create incessant chords accompanied by a rhythmic base evoking the Big Beat sound and distancing itself from the classic rhythm of techno. On the second track, 'Rubberdub of da King', Asedub continues to experiment with his drum machine, accompanying it with deep sliding pads as a perfect complement to the snare and kick drum, creating a hypnotic sound. ‘Shine’ is a delicate piece, almost crystalline, with very careful sounds with which Asedub delves into the classic dub techno sound. He closes the EP 'Frontward', a track with a constant and catchy bass, which together with an insistent percussion create a dynamic rhythm that transports us to the reviled dance floors that we long for.
